NGFS-GRASFI-INSPIRE exchange – Climate change and sovereign risk

Ulrich Volz (SOAS, University of London) will present his research “Sovereign risk and climate change“, co-authored with John Beirne (Asian Development Bank Institute), Natalie, Fenton Ambrosio Preudhomme (Four Twenty Seven), Adrian Fenton (WWF Singapore), Emilie Mazzacurati (Four Twenty Seven), Nuobu Renzhi (Asian Development Bank Institute), and Jeanne Stampe (WWF Singapore).

This will be followed by Matthew Agarwala (University of Cambridge) who will present his research “Climate change and sovereign credit ratings”, co-authored by Matt Burke (University of East Anglia and University of Cambridge), Patrycja Klusak (University of East Anglia and University of Cambridge), Moritz Kraemer (SOAS, University of London and Goethe-University) and Kamiar Mohaddes (University of Cambridge).

The NGFS-GRASFI-INSPIRE exchange is designed to strengthen the connection, collaboration and research exchange between the central bankers, financial supervisors and the academic community to share and explore new and innovative research that advances the agenda on greening the financial system.
